An established Australia-based technology team is seeking a mid–senior Full‑Stack AI Engineer / Software Developer to help build a next-generation SaaS platform delivering modular, workflow-driven AI solutions.
Role Overview
The ideal candidate is a strong full‑stack engineer comfortable working across Angular, .NET Core, and Azure, while effectively leveraging AI development tools to accelerate delivery and enhance code quality.
This role suits someone who can work independently, think architecturally, and contribute high-quality production software within a modern AI‑augmented engineering environment.
Core Responsibilities
and Skills
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop new features for a multi-tenant SaaS platform
Build backend services using C# and .NET Core Web APIs
Develop and maintain modern Angular front-end applications
Integrate AI capabilities using Microsoft Semantic Kernel and AI agent workflows
Work with structured and unstructured data across Azure SQL, CosmosDB, and Azure Blob Storage
Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decision-making
Ensure code quality through testing, reviews, and documentation
Support deployment and releases using Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
AI Engineering Expectations
This engineering team makes extensive use of AI-assisted tools (particularly Claude Code) for design, coding, experimentation, and debugging.
The successful candidate will:
Work productively with AI coding tools to accelerate development
Apply strong engineering judgment when reviewing AI-generated code
Create effective prompts and workflows to guide AI tools in generating quality output
Use AI for architectural exploration, debugging, and documentation
Contribute to evolving best practices for AI-augmented development
Experience with AI engineering tools is strongly preferred, but strong developers eager to adopt AI workflows are welcome.
